External Sales Executive vacancy:
My client, a distributor of acrylic sheet and thermoplastic sheet, rod and tube products, is looking for a driven External Sales Executive to join their successful team for business development based in Leicester covering the East Midlands region.
A subsidiary of a global leader in the manufacture of acrylics, they appreciate that different customers and different markets have different needs. That’s why they are already renowned for delivering an excellent service. With your drive and determination, they’ll continue to succeed.
Responsible for achieving sales targets, opening new accounts and developing business, you’ll get involved in a variety of activities from day one. As well as visiting existing customers to further develop sales, you’ll also promote the client and its product range by giving sales and technical presentations. Preparing an area plan and responding to product or service queries will also be key elements of the role, as will producing visit reports, ensuring customer records are maintained, following up quotations and liaising regularly with colleagues re sales leads, customer needs, sample requests etc.
Experienced in field sales and B2B sales and with good communication and office IT skills, you’re an excellent negotiator who thrives on business development. Some experience within the plastics, point of sale or sign industry whilst useful, is not essential, as full training will be provided. In return for your talent and enthusiasm, you’ll receive an excellent negotiable salary in line with your experience, an annual bonus, 25 days holiday and BUPA healthcare and take part in the company pension scheme.

Job Description:
A fantastic opportunity to join this leading electrical manufacturing business as their field sales engineer for their clients in Essex, Kent, Suffolk and Surrey. The company market, designs, and manufactures industrial electric motors, drives, generators, power transmission & automation products.
The Field sales Engineers Role:
The successful applicant will be responsible for managing sales and existing customers, developing new business in the UK South territory. Be capable of specifying and selling motion control & automation products and systems, including rotary and linear servo motors, servo & inverter drives, multi axis motion controllers and associated equipment, into OEM’s and end user applications.
Qualifications:
The ideal Sales engineer should be qualified to HNC / degree level or equivalent in a relevant technical engineering discipline. Sales experience in the industrial automation or related business sector would be advantageous.
Location:
The Sales engineer’s role is a home based position, ideally located Sussex, Surrey, Kent, Essex, Hertfordshire area.
Salary & Benefits.
£35,000 plus Car / Allowance plus Bonus
